Practice areas

My German clients consult me mainly in the following legal fields:

  • Agriculture
  • Consumer protection
  • Contracts
  • Criminal Law
  • Debt collecting
  • Environment
  • Labour law
  • Product liability
  • Subsidies
  • Trade

I take pride in guiding foreigners through the labyrinth of the German legal system. As I cannot know each and every area of the law, I co-operate with specialists, if necessary. I am familiar with cross border

  • tort law
  • family law
  • debt collecting
  • immigration
  • naturalization.

My admission to the bars at an Amtsgericht (county court), a Landgericht (High Court) and an Oberlandesgericht (Court of Appeal) allows me to plead before all German courts, with the exception of the civil chambers of the Supreme Court (Bundesgerichtshof).

I represent my clients before national German public authorities and European institutions, including the European Court of Justice. Whenever action before foreign national authorities or courts is required, I instruct a lawyer admitted to provide legal services in the respective country.
